BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills will be featured on TV in a new way this holiday season.
Hallmark Media and the Bills announced Thursday that they'll be partnering with the NFL and Skydance Sports -- a joint venture between the league and production company Skydance -- on a new holiday film, "Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story."
The movie will premiere during Hallmark Channel's 16th annual "Countdown to Christmas," and production will start later this year and take place throughout the greater Buffalo region. That includes the team's stadium, which will garner even more spotlight in what is set to be its final season. A new stadium is being built across the street and is scheduled to open for the 2026 season. A cast has not yet been announced.
The Bills are the second NFL team to partner with Hallmark on a film, joining their recent AFC rival. The Kansas City Chiefs did so last year with "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story." Among those who make an appearance in the film are head coach Andy Reid, Jason and Travis Kelce's mother, Donna Kelce, along with cameo appearances by players, including Mecole Hardman, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Trey Smith, George Karlaftis and Christian Okoye.
Bills safety Damar Hamlin helped announce the news with a video.

"We're so excited to celebrate our team, our fans and shout out to Bills Mafia, and our shared love for football and Hallmark Christmas movies," Hamlin said.
There will be a variety of promotions ahead of the film, engaging audiences "on and off the field," per a statement on the film. There is plenty of crossover of audiences for Hallmark and the NFL adding a little romance and holiday spirit to the playoff push, with the statement citing a Nielsen report that 75% of Hallmark Channel viewers also watched the NFL while "Countdown to Christmas" was on air in 2024.
The biggest question is how many -- if any at all -- of the region's signature chicken wings will be featured in the movie?
