The 2019 College Football Playoff Selection Show will air on Sunday, Dec. 8, starting at noon ET on ESPN and the ESPN App. The College Football Playoff teams will be revealed at 12:15 p.m., and the New Year's Six matchups at 3 p.m.

According to the Allstate Playoff Predictor, Ohio State, Clemson, LSU and Oklahoma are the most likely candidates.

What happened last year in the 2018 College Football Playoff?
Last year, Clemson bested Alabama as the best team in the country with a dominant performance. The two programs had gone back and forth for four seasons for the top two rankings. Of note: Alabama is already out this year, so there won't be a rematch.
