Ohio State top RB TreVeyon Henderson out against Maryland

Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson did not play in the Buckeyes' 37-17 win over Maryland on Saturday.

No reason was given on Ohio State's availability report before the game, but Henderson was listed as out along with five other Ohio State players. Henderson played against Notre Dame two weeks ago and had 14 carries for 104 yards and a touchdown in the 17-14 win over the Irish.

Henderson leads the team in rushing yards (295) and rushing touchdowns (5) and had not been listed as questionable or with any issues before this game. He did miss six games last season because of a broken bone in his left foot that required surgery.

With Henderson out, Ohio State was held to 62 rushing yards on 33 carries in the victory. Chip Trayanum led the Buckeyes with 61 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.
