Best available 2015 prospects

Our best available this week focuses on the 2015 class and our newly minted junior player rankings for the 2015 ESPN 300. We have chosen four players from what we feel are the four premier positions as well as one wide receiver. Of course it is extremely early in the process and college coaches will view all 2015 prospects as available, even highly ranked committed players such as Kevin Toliver II, a cornerback who chose LSU in November.

Cornell
DE Jashon Cornell
(Saint Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham Hall High School )
6-3, 245 | ESPN Junior 300 rank: 1 | DE rank: 1 | Grade: 89 | Stars: 4
Cornell is the only player we have seen at this early juncture who we feel could be a legitimate five-star player heading into his junior year. We always err on the side of caution the younger the player is, but Cornell has exhibited some elite traits as an edge rusher. He is a long, fluid athlete who will only excel further with more growth and strength that is sure to come over the next two seasons.
