Short but sweet

Recruits in the 2014 class take to Twitter early and often. Nicholas Kamm/Getty Images

Prospects in the Class of 2014 are more involved with Twitter than any class before them. It is not unusual to see a recruit that has 40, 50 or even 60 thousand tweets already. While some might decry the loss of elegance that comes with the long-winded Facebook post of a bygone day, there are certain advantages to being limited to 140 characters. Extemporaneous words are dropped. Useless clichés are removed. Thoughts are boiled down.

We decide to use that concise format to our advantage. We asked some of the top players in Georgia to give us their hypothetical (and in some cases real) tweet about what they think of the Georgia Bulldogs.

Raekwon McMillan (Hinesville, Ga./Liberty County) -- One of the nation's top inside linebackers, McMillan earned an invitation to The Opening after his NFTC performance on Sunday. He is a high priority for the Bulldogs who will have to fight off the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, Florida and more than 40 other programs.
