ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The inherent advantage of a player living close to the college he commits to is that visits are made more easily and the likelihood that a fellow commit lives close by is pretty high.
And this weekend, with 20 commits in the 2013 class in town, it would've been easy for all the eight in-state commits -- each of whom has some kind of connection to another whether it be high school, seven-on-seven leagues or mutual friends -- to stick together since they know each other the best.
But that didn't happen at all.
