AFL
The season was suspended following the conclusion of Round 1, with play to resume no earlier than May 31, 2020.

Football

Olympic Games
The Tokyo Olympics has been postponed for 12 months.
The Olympics have been canceled three times in the 124-year history of the modern Games -- all three instances were because of global conflict (1916, World War I; 1940 and 1944, World War II) -- but never before has a Games been pushed back a year.
Australian athletes who have qualified for the Olympics won't have to re-qualify for the postponed event.

Super Netball
Season start delayed. Super Netball season was set to start May 2 but has been deferred and will not commence any earlier than June 30.
All training has been suspended
Super Netball League and Australian Netball Player's Association worked with clubs to help all inter-state and international players return home.
Players agree to a 70 percent pay cut for five weeks
AFLW
The AFLW season was cancelled in the middle of its finals series, with no premiership awarded.
Cricket
Australia's domestic Sheffield Shield was cancelled ahead of the final round, and finals. New South Wales, which was comfortably on top of the ladder at the time, was named premier.
