McLaren reveals new livery ahead of Spanish Grand Prix

After a week of intense speculation, McLaren has revealed its brand new livery ahead of the Spanish Grand Prix.

The team stuck with a familiar chrome and black colour scheme for the start of the year despite fevered anticipation among fans that the return of Honda as an engine supplier would see a retro red and white livery on the car. During pre-season testing team boss Ron Dennis hinted that the paint job could change later in the year, but would not be drawn on the specifics of the new-look McLaren.

However, in the run up to the Spanish Grand Prix McLaren finally revealed its 2015 makeover, which drops the chrome engine cover of recent years and introduces a graphite-grey base colour with dayglo red "speedmarks". The team described the new colour scheme as "dynamic" and "predatory".
