Four members of a gang who stole trophies from Red Bull's factory in Milton Keynes last December have been jailed for a series of crimes.

The four pleaded guilty to conspiracy charges and their sentences varied in length from two to seven years. According to a BBC report, the gang's haul also included thefts from cash machines and Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge and was estimated to be worth £934,000.

The gang drove a car through the entrance of the Red Bull factory and stole over 60 trophies in December last year, roughly 20 of which were later recovered from a lake near Sandhurst, although many were damaged. At the time Christian Horner said: The break-in caused significant damage and was very upsetting for our night officers who were on duty at the time. The offenders took items that not only did not belong to them, but which represented the efforts of a group of dedicated, hard-working individuals."

In total, the gang's raids caused £317,000 of damage.
