Renault has released its first promo video ahead of its return to the grid as a manufacturer in 2016.
In December Renault's takeover of the Lotus team was finally confirmed after months of negotiations. Renault has only been an engine supplier since its factory team last competed in 2010 but decided last year to return to the sport in its old capacity.
The team, which currently has Pastor Maldonado and Jolyon Palmer signed on for the upcoming season, has released its first video ahead of its return with the hashtag #HearUsComing. Though it gives no indication of the team's livery for the upcoming campaign the voiceover asks "Can't you hear the sound of our next records, the resonance of our achievements?"
Renault engines will also be present on the grid in another car next year, with Red Bull staying with the French manufacturer -- albeit branded as TAG Heuer.
