Pirelli will bring the ultra-soft, super-soft and soft compound tyres for use at the Singapore Grand Prix in September.
Teams and drivers are free to choose 10 sets of tyres per grand prix weekend from the compounds on offer, with a further three sets mandated by Pirelli. For Singapore, Pirelli has chosen one set of ultra-softs for use in Q3 and set aside super-softs and softs for the race -- one of which must be used at some point.
The deadline for nominations at flyaway races is 14 weeks in advance of the race, which is why the Singapore announcement has come ahead of the announcements for the Belgian and Italian Grands Prix. It will be the fourth time this season that the three softest compounds in the Pirelli range have been chosen.
