Reigning champion Nico Rosberg has accepted a role as an ambassador for the Mercedes Formula One team.
Rosberg retired from the sport after winning the title last year and will be replaced by Valtteri Bottas at Mercedes this season. Other than spending more time with his family, Rosberg gave little away about his future plans last year but Mercedes has now confirmed he will continue in an ambassadorial role at the team.
His first commitment will be on Tuesday when he joins former teammate Lewis Hamilton in Geneva at the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) on behalf of the team's partner IWC.
