MONTE CARLO, Monaco -- A collision involving Sergio Pérez and both Haas drivers forced the Monaco Grand Prix to be suspended on the first lap.
On the hill which runs up from Turn 1, Haas driver Kevin Magnussen collided with Perez as the corner drifted away to the right side.

Magnussen had been on the inside of Perez as the space closed up.
The contact sent Perez into a heavy collision with the wall and his car collected Magnussen's teammate, Nico Hülkenberg, as he came back onto the race track.
Perez's car was badly damaged, while both Haas cars were unable to continue.
All three drivers were unhurt in the crash.
The stewards noted the incident, but shortly before the restart, they confirmed there would be no further investigation.
That decision may be controversial, with Magnussen already two penalty points away from a one-race ban.
It was a chaotic opening lap. Ferrari's Carlos Sainz went off shortly after further up the track, having picked up a front-left puncture on the run up the hill.
A few corners later, Alpine teammates Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon collided as they entered the tunnel area.
The race restarted on a standing grid, as if it were the beginning of the race.
Despite going off and dropping down the order, Sainz restarted the race from third position due to the timing of when the red flag was waved.
