Radja Nainggolan could be tempted by a move to Real Madrid this summer, according to the much sought-after Roma midfielder's agent.

Nainggolan has been linked with Manchester United and Liverpool through recent months, but Roma coach Rudi Garcia said this week that he expects a deal to be done with Cagliari, who part own his sporting rights, to tie the Belgium international's future to the Italian capital club.

Madrid have not been mentioned too often in speculation, although new Los Blancos coach Rafa Benitez is thought to be keen to add at least one more midfielder to a squad which appeared unbalanced under predecessor Carlo Ancelotti last season, and all-rounder Nainggolan would appear to meet Rafa's requirements.

The 27-year-old's agent, Ludovico Spinosi, told IlSussidiario.net, in quotes reported by AS, that remaining at Roma was the most likely thing to happen, but if Madrid came calling that could all change.

"I believe Nainggolan will stay at Roma, although when you are talking about Real Madrid, things can change," Spinosi said. "[Roma president James] Pallotta knows that Nainggolan is very important for Roma, and could have many offers for the player. Keep an eye out for Real Madrid."

Roma reportedly purchased 50 percent of Nainggolan's registration rights last summer for €6 million -- and would need to pay at least as much to fully own the player who scored five goals in 30 league starts last season as Roma finished second in Serie A.

Things have been quiet at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu through recent weeks, with the club so far only taking up a €7.5 million option to bring midfielder Casemiro back from a loan spell at Porto, and Germany international Sami Khedira leaving for Juventus on a free transfer after his Madrid contract ran down.

El Pais claim that Madrid and Barcelona are locked in a battle to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, with Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City also apparently in that race.

Marca, however, claims that Madrid president Florentino Perez has doubts over whether Pogba is worth the 90 million euro asking price, even after former Galactico and current Castilla coach Zinedine Zidane spoke of his admiration for his fellow Frenchman.
