LYON -- Hal Robson-Kanu is set to decide his future after Wales' Euro 2016 adventure came to an end. Robson-Kanu, whose contract at Championship club Reading expired on June 30, said it was now time to consider the many offers he has received after Wales' 2-0 semifinal defeat to Portugal. His performances in France, where he scored two goals including a brilliant "Cruyff-turn" strike in Wales' 3-1 quarterfinal defeat of Belgium, have seen him received improved offers, he told reporters. "I would be lying if I said more clubs haven't come in," Robson-Kanu said. "The clubs that were maybe thinking about it are obviously putting their name forward now so I'll make the decision." Robson-Kanu said he had received offers from "the Premier League and the rest of the world" but said he had yet to make a decision. He said: "To be honest, I've not had time to sit down and think about it. In the coming weeks I will think about it and start a new chapter. It's funny because such a big deal has been made of it because I said I would decide on my future after. "I had really good offers before the tournament started but I made a decision for myself and the family to make a decision after the tournament and that's where I am now." Robson-Kanu expressed his disappointment at losing out to a Cristiano Ronaldo-inspired Portugal but said Wales could take great heart from reaching the semifinals, equalling the best performance from a British international team since England won the 1966 World Cup. "If a few key moments in the game had gone a bit differently, it would have been a different story but that's football," he said. "We will take a lot away from this." He added: "I think the way Portugal set up showed us a lot of respect. They sat deep and didn't really want to come out in the first half. I think that shows the impact we have had in this tournament. If they had have done, I think we would have opened them up in the first half." On Ronaldo, who scored Portugal's first and set up Nani's second, Robson-Kanu said: "He showed us a bit of respect and that's nice to see. I wish them all the best. It will be a great final, whoever they get. And may the best team win."
