Former Bayern Munich defender Breno is set to be released from prison in December, his lawyer confirmed to Bild.
Breno, 25, was sentenced to three years and nine months for arson in July 2012 after setting fire to his house while under the influence of alcohol in September of the previous year.
He was released on day parole in 2013, and is currently working for Bayern's youth department.
Earlier this year, the former Bayern defender hoped to be fully released from prison to his contractual obligations in Brazil, where he signed a deal with his former side Sao Paulo in Dec. 2012.
But the club said that Breno has to attend his first training session in Brazil in April or otherwise the contract will be terminated.
While Breno remained in prison, he is now set to be fully released on Dec. 18, his lawyer Sewarion Kirikitadse confirmed.
His lawyer also told Bild that Breno will not face deportation, and "has one month to return to his homeland as a free man and without deportation."
"I managed to get that through for him," he said.
