Stefan Scepovic's has ended his ill-fated Celtic stint after the Serbia international's loan stay with Getafe was made permanent.
The 26-year-old has signed a four-year deal with the Spanish second-tier outfit, for a reported fee of €1.2 million.
A statement on the club's official website read: "Getafe CF, SAD has executed the purchase option on the player which was set in his loan contract from Glasgow Celtic. The player signed with the club for the next four seasons."
The striker's departure from Parkhead comes as no surprise as new Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers continues to clear out his squad ahead of his summer refurb.
Rodger's predecessor Ronny Deila was persuaded to sign the former Sampdoria, Club Brugge and Partizan Belgrade frontman on the final day of the 2014 summer transfer window following a 23-goal campaign with Sporting Gijon in Spain.
But he never reproduced that kind of form in Scotland as he struggled to dislodge Leigh Griffiths from the Hoops' forward slot.
He managed just six goals from his 26 Celtic appearances before being allowed to join Getafe on loan last August.
Scepovic becomes the fourth striker to exit Celtic Park since Rodgers was appointed at the end of May.
Anthony Stokes has joined Blackburn while Colin Kazim-Richards is now plying his trade in Brazil with Curitiba. Carlton Cole has also been released.
