Roberto Pereyra wants Juventus exit to join Serie A rivals Napoli says agent

Argentine midfielder Roberto Pereyra is eyeing an immediate exit from Juventus to join Serie A rivals Napoli, according to his agent Sergio Furlan.

The 25-year-old former Argentine youth international joined the Turin giants in 2014 from Udinese but has not featured much under Massimiliano Allegri, making just nine starts last season.

With the signing of Roma's Miralem Pjanic for a reported fee of €32 million, Pereyra's future at Juventus was cast further in doubt, and the player wants a move to Napoli to get more playing time.

"I'm waiting for a call from [Napoli director] Cristiano Giuntoli to meet up around a table in Milan and discuss the situation," Furlan told CalcioNapoli24.

"There are a few problems with image rights, but we knew that would always be something to consider with Napoli. We'll try to resolve the situation.

"Juve and Napoli are talking now. Roberto really likes the idea of moving to Napoli and we hope it can all be resolved in the best way."
