Bob Bradley: Free agent Dimitar Berbatov is on Swansea City radar

Swansea City manager Bob Bradley has said Dimitar Berbatov is "on my radar" as he seeks to revive the struggling club's fortumes.

Former Manchester United, Tottenham and Fulham striker Berbatov, 35, is a free agent after leaving PAOK Salonika in the summer.

The Bulgarian has said he would be keen to return to England's top division -- and that has attracted Bradley's attention.

"I have met Dimitar a few times and I know he is anxious to get back into the Premier League," the American told a news conference.

"Everyone inside our club knows that, and so when there are [transfer] discussions his name is included.

"Where it takes us at this time, I don't have an answer. But certainly I know about his intentions and I have seen some of the good things he's done in the past.

"He's on my radar -- there are a lot of things on my radar right now.''

Speaking to BBC 5 live Sport, Berbatov said: "When you've played in the Premier League, you don't want to play anywhere else.

"In this stage of my career I know where I am -- I would happily play for a team where they use my experience and my knowledge.

"I can help young players develop and make the team stronger. In the end, it's all about helping the team play."

Swansea are currently five points adrift from safety in the bottom three and face Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
