Michel Vorm is the latest player to agree a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur, extending his stay with the club until 2018.
Tottenham announced Vorm had signed a four-year deal when he signed from Swansea in 2014, but it was actually a three-year deal with the option of a further year, which the club has now exercised. His new deal also includes the option of a further year until 2019, a club source has told ESPN FC.
Vorm is the 14th player to agree a new contract with the club in 2016, and the 12th since the start of this season, following on from key men including Christian Eriksen, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.
"That I can extend my contract here is very positive," Vorm told Tottenham's official Twitter account. "I'm very happy here, my family is very happy and that's very important.

"I've got a lot of respect for the staff and the players here and I think we've shown already we can compete with the best.
"We have to take more steps ahead, we've got the new stadium coming up, this year we played Champions League for the first time with this group, so these kinds of things are very positive for the future and I think to be a part of that is very special."
The 33-year-old is Tottenham's second-choice goalkeeper behind Lloris, who agreed a five-and-a-half-year deal on Thursday, and he has made six appearances for the club.
Vorm is next expected to play in Tottenham's FA Cup third-round home match against Aston Villa on Jan. 8.
