Real Salt Lake have signed former Blackburn Rovers and Wales international defender Adam Henley, the MLS club announced on Tuesday.
Henley, 23, played in the Premier League with Blackburn in the 2011-12 season and stayed with the club following their relegation to the Championship.
He was born in the U.S. but moved to England at a young age and has played in two friendlies for Wales.
"I'm really excited to begin my journey at Real Salt Lake. It's a fantastic opportunity at a well-run, well-supported club," Henley said in a statement. "I feel this is a great chance for me to reignite my career and get back to playing my best football."
Henley should see some playing time in the absence of right-back Tony Beltran, who will miss most of the season following knee surgery.
