Manchester United teenager Angel Gomes has travelled with the squad for the FA Cup fourth-round tie with Yeovil Town.
Veteran midfielder Michael Carrick has also made the journey south, and is in line to play ahead of his impending retirement at the end of the season.
The forward, 17, signed his first professional deal at Old Trafford in December after making his first-team debut as a 16-year-old against Crystal Palace last season.
He has travelled with Jose Mourinho's squad for the Friday night's clash at Huish Park, along with new signing Alexis Sanchez, and could be on the bench.
Mourinho promised to take a "strong team" to Yeovil, currently 21st in League Two, but the United manager has decided to rest David De Gea, Paul Pogba, Phil Jones and Antonio Valencia.
Marouane Fellaini and Daley Blind are expected to miss out through injury while Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Eric Bailly are still sidelined.
