Liverpool have announced that youngster Rhian Brewster has signed his first professional contract at the club.
Brewster was drawing interest from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach but has put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Anfield, a source told ESPN FC.
The 18-year-old has been at Liverpool since the age of 15 after leaving Chelsea in search for a better pathway for first-team football.

Speaking to Liverpool's official website about his contract, he said: "It feels great. I've wanted to do this for a very long time now and I think it's the right moment for me and my family. I'm looking forward to getting back fit and making some appearances.
"Since I got here, the club has been amazing to me and treated me like family. It seems like I've been here my whole life, to be honest. It's coming up to my fifth season now. I [still] remember my first training session. It's amazing and I can't wait to get started."
The Reds have confirmed the striker will be a member of Jurgen Klopp's senior side for the upcoming 2018-19 campaign.
Brewster, who won the Golden Boot when England won the Under-17s World Cup last October, has been part of Liverpool's matchday squad on one previous occasion and has been training at Melwood on a regular basis.
He is continuing with his rehabilitation from two operations after damaging ligaments in his ankle back in January during an U23s game at Manchester City.
