The winter transfer window is closed, but now it's time to look ahead to the summer! Here are the new rumours floating around following the Jan. 31 deadline day.
TOP STORY: Inter Milan targeting Auba and Martial
Serie A title contenders Inter Milan are already planning a replacement for striker Lautaro Martinez, who is expected to join Barcelona, according to Tuttosport.
Martinez, who has already scored 16 goals this season, is widely expected to swap the Italian capital for the Camp Nou this summer with a €150 million offer believed to be on the table, and Inter are wasting little time in targeting the Premier League for a replacement. They already have eyes for soon-to-be free agent Olivier Giroud, as well as Napoli's Dries Mertens, but the Martinez funds will see money burning a hole in their pocket.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with 17 goals in 29 games this season, and Anthony Martial, with 14 in 30, are both topping a list also said to include the increasingly popular Timo Werner and Antoine Griezmann.
Inter could decide to try to make Griezmann part of any potential swap deal, but the Frenchman is unlikely to want to leave Barca so soon, while Werner looks increasingly likely to favour Liverpool.
And with Aubameyang and Martial both believed to be interested in a move away from England, Inter could be the perfect move.

19.25 GMT: There were plenty of smiling faces at Old Trafford on Sunday as new arrival Bruno Fernandes continued to look the part in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Watford. The Portuguese opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Martial and Mason Greenwood struck to help keep the Red Devils' top-four hopes very much alive.
However, Fernandes is not the end-all-be-all for United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer calling the former Sporting CP man "a good deal" in the current market but adding the club will be out to continue improving attacking options when the summer window opens.
18.30 GMT: Dortmund new-man Erling Haaland has been on fire since he signed for the German club in January.

17.29 GMT: Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta insists that the future of teenager Bukayo Saka is out of his hands.
Saka has become a regular in the Gunners team as the season has progressed, and has impressed with his performances as an attacking left-back. The 18-year-old's contract expires in the summer of 2021, but Arteta is leaving talks over a new deal up to the hierarchy at the Emirates stadium.
"That is something the club has to get sorted," Arteta told Sky Sports News ahead of Sunday's match against Everton. "My priority is that he continues to play like he is doing and he keeps developing. He is always asking the right questions.
"He is a very brave guy. Every time he gets into the final third, he is trying to cause problems for the opponent. He deserves these chances, he is doing very well and that's why he is in the team.
"He's great for the club. If we can get players from the academy and give them real chances even when we have other people fit, it shows we believe in them. He's responded well."
16.43 GMT: Former Chelsea attacker Oscar has said he is targeting a return to Europe in the next few years.
"I'd like to return to Europe, but I think [returning to] Brazil would be more difficult," the 28-year-old, who is with Shanghai SIPG, told TV Globo. "There is more a chance I return to Europe. In two or three years, the desire is to return to Europe."
Oscar added that his ideal destination would be Real Madrid and nominated Lionel Messi as the player he would most like to play alongside.
15.46 GMT: Tottenham Hotspur could be beaten to the summer signing of French striker Serhou Guirassy by London rivals West Ham, according to The Sun on Sunday.
Guirassy has scored eight goals in 22 Ligue 1 starts for Amiens this season, most recently scoring twice in the 4-4 draw with Paris Saint-Germain last weekend. The 23-year-old made his loan from Cologne in the second part of last term permanent in the summer.
The Sun on Sunday reports that West Ham lead the race for Guirassy, who is also being monitored by Brighton.
15.00 GMT: Premier League surprise package Sheffield United are still in the hunt for European football next season, and they are already planning their summer recruitment.
According to The Sun on Sunday, Blades boss Chris Wilder is hoping to beat top-flight rivals including Wolves and Burnley to the signature of Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
The 24-year-old, who has made 33 appearances for Marcelo Bielsa's side this term, could be available for £20m.
14.03 GMT: Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is not concerned that Scott McTominay's return to fitness could contribute to his own departure from the club.
Matic is out of contract in the summer, and an exit in January looked on the cards as both Inter and AC Milan were keen on taking the 31-year-old.
The Serbia international has had a run in the side over the past two months due to McTominay's injury. However, with the Scotland international back in the squad for Sunday's home game against Watford, it remains to be seen how much longer Matic can keep his place in the team.
"Scott is a great player," Matic said in the build-up to the Watford game. "There is always space in the team for good players. Managers have to decide who is going to play, how we are going to play.
"I am not worried, I am happy when he is in the team because he is the kind of player I like. I like to train with them.
"As a person, he is very good. I am happy he is back and hope he will avoid injuries in the future. The team is a question for the coach!"
13.12 GMT: Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish says he takes reports of interest from top Premier League clubs with "a pinch of salt."
Grealish has been Villa's standout player this season as they battle for Premier League survival, and the 24-year-old is doing so amid years of links with other clubs. Tottenham failed in their bid to sign him while Villa were in the Championship, and this season sources have told ESPN that he is one of the young attacking players on Manchester United's radar.
"Of course it's nice," Grealish told The Express & Star when asked about being a target for big clubs. "Who doesn't like to be talked about in a nice way? But, to be honest, I try and take everything with a pinch of salt.
"I had it all five years ago when I broke through and I was getting talked about a lot. I was 19 years old, going online reading about myself and I couldn't believe it. I was in the papers all the time and they were asking: 'Is this the new big thing?'
"Then just one thing goes wrong and it all comes down on you like a ton of bricks. It is nice to read and nice to listen to, but I don't let it get to me too much, because I know how quickly it can change."
12.18 GMT: Kevin De Bruyne is "committed" to Manchester City despite a two-year ban from the Champions League hanging over them, according to Belgium coach Roberto Martinez.
City have been hit with the ban by UEFA, which has judged City to have fallen foul of its financial fair play regulations. The club has confirmed it will appeal the ban at the Court of Arbitration for Sport, but that has not stopped speculation surrounding the futures of their star players.
"Kevin De Bruyne is committed to the project of Manchester City," Martinez told beIN Sports before Saturday's 1-0 win over Leicester City. "We don't know what will happen with the ban, maybe it will be one year.
"I think two years will have big implications to Manchester City but it's too early, I don't think everyone will be thinking to the future just yet.
"They play an important game today [against Leicester], they play again against Real Madrid in the Champions League and I think the time to talk about player's futures will be after those competitions come to an end."
11.23 GMT: RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner has again talked up the possibility of joining Liverpool by hailing Jurgen Klopp as "the best coach in the world."
Werner 23, said following his goal in Wednesday's 1-0 Champions League round-of-16 first-leg win at Tottenham that being linked with interest from the European champions makes him "very proud."
And after his side's 5-0 win at Schalke on Saturday, the Germany international told Sky: "Last year, until I extended my contract, it was always Bayern Munich [that I was linked with]. Now Liverpool has come up through the media and through our game in England.
"You have there the best coach in the world with Jurgen Klopp. There are many things that would suggest that my style of play might be a good fit, but I'm not worried about it because we have so much to do with Leipzig.
"You can see we won against Tottenham, but we also have a second leg. It's hard to think about where to play next year if you want to step on the gas here and now."
10.29 GMT: Manchester City and Real Madrid are rivalling each other in their pursuit for Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz, the Sunday Express reports.
Ruiz, 23, has long been on Madrid's radar, with the Spain international becoming a regular for Napoli since moving to Serie A in 2018 and putting in some eye-catching performances in the Champions League. Scouts from the Spanish club were in Italy on Friday to see him score the winning goal against Brescia.
City, meanwhile, have identified Ruiz as a player who can fill the space left by david Silva when the p[laymaker leaves the club this summer.
09.30 GMT: Liverpool have joined Manchester United and a host of the Premier League's biggest clubs in the race for Birmingham City's teen sensation Jude Bellingham, according to the Star on Sunday.
Sources told ESPN last month that United believe a bid of around £25m plus another £5m in add-ons could be enough to prise the 16-year-old midfielder away from Birmingham, for whom he has made 33 appearances already this season.
However, Liverpool entering the fray could put those hopes of signing the England U17 captain in doubt. The Premier League champions elect signed another 16-year-old, Harvey Elliott, last summer and he has already made seven first-team appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side.
PAPER TALK (by Nick Judd): PSG interested in signing Paul Pogba
Paris Saint Germain would be interested in adding Paul Pogba to their squad this summer, should the Frenchman decide to leave Manchester United, reports Le10Sport.
Pogba's future remains enshrouded in mystery. The player himself has been unclear of his plans beyond the end of the 2019-20 campaign, while his agent Mino Raiola continues to do little to clarify the situation. Quite the opposite, in fact!
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains adamant that Pogba has a future at Old Trafford, but Juventus are confident that they can tempt Pogba back to Turin.
Juve believe they can use Aaron Ramsey as a makeweight in the deal, while Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane also has made no secret of his admiration for his compatriot.
However, PSG are always looking to add the players they feel will help them land the Champions League, and with Pogba's future unclear, they believe a move to France isn't beyond the realms of possibility.
Juventus interested in Thiago Silva
Talking of Juventus and PSG, the two clubs could be set for a head-to-head of a different kind this summer, with the Old Lady keen on taking defender Thiago Silva to Turin when his contract comes to an end in June.
Italian site Tuttomercato suggests that Silva could decide to leave at the end of the season, considering that a contract extension is seemingly off the table for the skipper.
Juventus are looking for experience in their back line, with their central axis an ever-evolving series of partnerships, and so they feel confident they can tempt the Brazilian away from the French capital.
Juve signed Adrien Rabiot for free from PSG in the last transfer window, and they feel they can strike again this time around, with PSG themselves looking to update their defensive options.
Tap-ins
- Brendan Rodgers is preparing as second bid for Celtic star Callum McGregor this summer as he looks to prepare for the departure of James Maddison, reports the Sun.
The Sun suggests that Rodgers is keen on signing McGregor regardless of whether Maddison leaves or not. Rodgers failed to secure McGregor, who was a key player for him at Parkhead, last summer, and the Scot has since scored 11 goals and registered 10 assists this season,
- Chris Wilder is looking to sign Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips in the summer, according to the Sun, but he could face stiff opposition from Wolves and Burnley, among others. The ease of securing Phillips could of course hinge on whether or not Leeds go up this season, but Wilder believes the prospect of European football could help his cause should Sheffield United finish the season strongly and Phillips fancies a new project.
- Bad news for all those clubs who were looking to add Manchester United's Nemanja Matic to their squads this summer. An exit for the Serbian looked on the cards earlier in the season as he was made a scapegoat on several occasions. However, he has been a key player in recent weeks, and the player himself, talking to the Mirror, suggests his long-term future might lay in Manchester after all.
