Ricardo Lamas-Chan Sung Jung fight among 2 added to July card

The UFC has officially added two highly ranked matchups to its UFC 214 pay-per-view lineup on July 29 in Anaheim, California.

A featherweight fight between Chan Sung Jung, aka "Korean Zombie," and Ricardo Lamas has been made official, as well as a bantamweight bout featuring Aljamain Sterling and former champion Renan Barao. UFC officials confirmed both additions, following a report by the Los Angeles Times.

Jung (14-4) is coming off a first-round knockout over Dennis Bermudez in February. It was the 30-year-old's first fight appearance in nearly four years, due to a mandatory military service in South Korea.

Lamas (17-5), out of Chicago, is 8-3 in the UFC and has regularly fought the division's elite. His three losses have come to Jose Aldo, Chad Mendes and Max Holloway. He holds wins against Cub Swanson, Diego Sanchez and Charles Oliveira.

Sterling (13-2), of Cortland, New York, is just 1-2 in his past three fights, but both losses came via close split decision. He is coming off a decision win over Augusto Mendes in April.

A former champion, Barao (34-4) went 1-1 in two appearances at the 145-pound featherweight division last year. The Brazilian announced earlier this year he would return to 135 pounds, despite struggling to make the weight in the past.

The UFC 214 event will take place inside Honda Center. A light heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier (19-1) and Jon Jones (22-1) is scheduled to headline.
