Glover Teixeira and Jimi Manuwa, two light heavyweights looking to get back on track after recent losses, will headline UFC Fight Night on Sept. 22 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
UFC officials announced the 205-pound main event on Friday. The televised event will take place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium.
Teixeira (27-7) is fresh off a unanimous decision loss to Corey Anderson on July 22 in Germany. The former title challenger has alternated wins and losses in his last six contests.
Manuwa (17-4) is riding back-to-back losses for the first time in his professional MMA career. He wanted to face Teixeira earlier this year, at a UFC Fight Night event in London, but the Brazilian was unavailable. Manuwa ended up taking a rematch against Jan Blachowicz, which he lost by decision.
Both light heavyweight contenders are 38 years old.
