Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson will face Geoff Neal in the welterweight main event of UFC Fight Night on Saturday at the promotion's Apex facility in Las Vegas. The final UFC fight card of 2020 will be broadcast on ESPN+, with the main card starting at 7 p.m. ET, preceded by prelims at 4 p.m.

Thompson (15-4-1) is a two-time challenger for the 170-pound championship, but he has not fought in over a year. In November 2019, he earned a decision over Vicente Luque to break out of a two-fight losing streak.

Neal (13-2) is on a seven-fight winning streak, including all five of his bouts in the UFC. Like "Wonderboy," he also has been away from the Octagon for an extended period. Neal last fought in December 2019, a first-round TKO of Mike Perry.

The main card also features two former UFC champions. Jose Aldo, who reigned at featherweight for six years, takes on Marlon Vera in the bantamweight co-main event. And former lightweight champ Anthony Pettis faces Alex Morono at welterweight.

In all, there are 15 fights scheduled for the year-ending card. Among the notables is welterweight Khaos Williams, who has had just two fights inside the Octagon -- knockout wins in 27 seconds and 30 seconds. He faces flashy Brazilian Michel Pereira. Be ready for fireworks.
