HOUSTON -- Golden State Warriors forward Andre Iguodala recently got a second opinion on his injured left knee and is still trying to figure out what's wrong, league sources told ESPN.
The Warriors are officially labeling the injury a left lateral leg contusion.
The 6-foot-7 swingman plans to search for a remedy in the coming days, sources said, and his status for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers is unknown.
Iguodala, the 2015 Finals MVP, has missed the past four games after bumping knees with Houston Rockets All-Star James Harden in Game 3 of the Western Conference finals.
On Monday morning, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Iguodala was having a difficult time being sidelined deep into the playoffs.
"He's frustrated," Kerr said. "His body has not responded at this point."
The Warriors appeared to have caught a break with another player. Draymond Green rolled his ankle in the fourth quarter of Game 7 on Monday.
"I told [trainer] Chelsea Lane during the game that I rolled my ankle badly, and I don't feel a thing right now. I know it was the adrenaline," Green told ESPN. "After the game, wooooo."
Green, who registered 10 points, 13 boards and 5 assists, walked with a noticeable limp immediately after his team's 101-92 victory. But after receiving treatment, he appeared to be fine. He expects to be available for Game 1 of the Finals.
"I'll be good, though," he said.
