Charlotte forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will miss Monday's game against the Indiana Pacers with an illness, the Hornets announced.
Kidd-Gilchrist, averaging 4.2 points and 3.1 rebounds per game, was held out of the lineup the previous three games as a coach's decision, so he still hasn't played in the new year.
After snapping a six-game skid Thursday, the Hornets bring a two-game winning streak into Monday's game.
