The sore ankle that had the paparazzi following Tom Brady's every move before New England's Super Bowl loss to the Giants is on the mend, according to a published report.
A league source told the Boston Herald that Brady's ankle has checked out fine and the quarterback who tossed a league-record 50 touchdowns last season won't be hampered during the team's offseason workouts.
While not officially listed on the Super Bowl injury report, Brady's ankle limited his mobility during the game, according to a New York Daily News report that quoted Brady's personal quarterbacks coach Tom Martinez.
Brady skipped the Pro Bowl this year and the Patriots cited the ankle injury as the reason for missing the game a week after the Super Bowl defeat.
Brady first injured his ankle against San Diego in the AFC Championship Game and then was sacked five times by the Giants in New York's 17-14 victory in Super Bowl XLII, a loss that denied New England a 19-0 season.
