Teddy Bridgewater, Robby Anderson combine on deep touchdown for Panthers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- One of the knocks on new Carolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is he doesn't consistently throw the deep ball well.

Well, he threw the deep ball well enough to Robby Anderson midway through the fourth quarter for a 75-yard touchdown and 30-27 lead over the Las Vegas Raiders.

To be fair, Bridgewater had a wide-open target in Anderson as cornerback Damon Arnette was called for defensive holding before losing coverage to arguably Carolina's fastest player.

And he didn't have to throw it terribly deep.

But Bridgewater stepped up in the pocket and easily hit Anderson in stride 25 yards from the line of scrimmage and Anderson's speed did the rest.
