Calvin Ridley's first TD catch for Titans is one to remember

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Calvin Ridley came through with an amazing catch when the Tennessee Titans needed it the most. The Titans were down by a touchdown and struggling on offense until Will Levis spotted Ridley streaking down the field with New York Jets All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner covering him Sunday.

Levis launched the ball, and Ridley showed tremendous concentration to catch the pass as Jets safety Chuck Clark closed in on it. What looked like an interception turned into a 40-yard touchdown. The crowd at Nissan Stadium erupted as Ridley rolled into the end zone to make it 17-17 late in the third quarter.

Ridley scored his first touchdown as Titan earlier on a 10-yard jet sweep. That was Ridley's first career rushing touchdown. He became only the second Titan since the beginning of the 2020 season to have a receiving touchdown and a rushing touchdown in the same game. Running back Tyjae Spears did it last season in Week 18.
