          Andrews sets Ravens record, Bateman scores twice vs. Giants

          EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Baltimore Ravens are off to a strong start, and quarterback Lamar Jackson is off to a perfect one.

          Jackson threw a 49-yard touchdown pass to receiver Rashod Bateman, who was wide open and caught the pass at the 10-yard line and faked out two New York Giants defenders to reach the end zone.

          Baltimore extended the lead to 21-7 with 32 seconds left in the first half with another downfield strike from Jackson to Bateman.

          Jackson hit Bateman in the left corner of the end zone for a 21-yard touchdown, which was the third of the first half for the reigning NFL Most Valuable Player. It marked the fifth game in Jackson's career that he has had multiple touchdown passes that have traveled at least 20 yards in the air. In the first half, Jackson is 13-of-14 for 162 yards.

          Mark Andrews staked the Ravens to an early lead and made franchise history as well.

          On third-and-goal, Andrews caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Jackson with 3:18 left in the first quarter. It was Andrews' 48th career touchdown, which surpasses running back Jamal Lewis for the most in Ravens history.

          Andrews celebrated by pointing to Jackson and then giving him a chest bump.

          Andrews' record came after the roughest start of his seven-year career. After failing to catch a touchdown pass in his first five games, Andrews has now reached the end zone eight times in his past nine games.
