One of the biggest coaching vacancies for 2021-22 was filled April 10 when Oklahoma hired Jennie Baranczyk from Drake as its new women's basketball coach.

Baranczyk, 39, replaced Sherri Coale, who retired in March after 25 seasons with the Sooners.

In other recent coaching news, Vanderbilt hired Shea Ralph on April 13 to replace Stephanie White. A longtime UConn assistant, Ralph steps into her first head coaching role.
