Sydney vs. GWS, Optus Stadium, 8:10pm (AEST)
Team news: Phil Davis will miss the after injuring his knee in the Giants' previous fixture, while star forward Toby Greene will also be absent and Shane Mumford has been managed. Sam Jacobs and debutant Tom Hutchesson are the two replacements. Meanwhile, the Swans have made three changes to the team beaten by Collingwood last-start, with Nick Blakey one of the men returning. Blakey is joined by Colin O'Riordan and Zac Foot, who come in at the expense of the injured Aliir Aliir and promising youngsters Matthew Ling and Elijah Taylor.

Prediction: The Giants are playing for a place in the finals, while the Swans are playing for pride. It's hard to see John Longmire's team getting over the line in this one, particularly with so many key players still missing through injury. Expect the Giants forwards to run riot at Optus Stadium.

Geelong vs. Port Adelaide, Metricon Stadium 7:50pm (AEST)
Team news: Despite their brutal fixture, Tom Hawkins has declared himself fit to play against ladder-leaders Port Adelaide, likewise Travis Boak declared himself fit to play this week. For the Cats, Jack Steven and Brad Close have been rested, with Lachie Fogarty and Sam Simpson coming in, while Port have recalled Steven Motlop and Sam Mayes for Jarrod Lienert and Cam Sutcliffe.
Prediction: Two of the benchmark sides in the competition meet in a Friday night blockbuster. The Cats have excelled through the compressed portion of the season and will enter this one full of confidence, and with a somewhat rested Patrick Dangerfield (who has spent much of the last two games forward). Expect him to be thrown back into the midfield to compete with Port's A-grade on-ball brigade. This one might just be decided by which key forward has the bigger game. Over to you, Charlie and Tomahawk.

North Melbourne vs. Brisbane, Metricon Stadium, 2:35pm (AEST)
Team news: North Melbourne has made a statement by dropping Majak Daw, Aaron Hall, Jasper Pittard and Jared Polec for its clash with the Lions. Jamie Macmillan will fly home for the birth of his first child. Among the inclusions are Ed Vickers-Willis who is set to play his first match since early 2019, while Marley Williams, Mason Wood, Lachlan Hosie and Will Walker have ben recalled. Experienced duo Daniel Rich (suspended) and Cam Ellis-Yolmen (omitted) will be replaced in Brisbane's line up by Ryan Lester and Rhys Mathieson.
Prediction: It's likely to be one of the more one-sided games of the season with the rampaging Lions coming up against the lowly Kangaroos. This could be the sort of game which is a percentage booster for Brisbane and helps them secure a higher place on the ladder come the end of the home and away season.

Melbourne vs. Collingwood, Gabba, 5:10pm (AEST)
Team news: Scott Pendlebury headlines the returnees for the Magpies, which also includes Jamie Elliott, Will Hoskin-Elliott, Ben Reid and Darcy Moore. But the . Pies have lost Brayden Sier with injury. the Demons have called Braydon Preuss to cover the injured Max Gawn, who has a PCL injury. Mitch Hannan (omitted) and Luke Jackson (injured) will be replaced by Jay Lockhart and returning gun mid Jack Viney.
Prediction: The Demons have made a mini resurgence and face Collingwood at a prime time, despite Nathan Buckley's side tasting victory last time out against the Crows. There's far too many important players missing for the Pies to be playing their best footy and the scores simply aren't coming. If Clayton Oliver can continue his great form in the midfield and Sam Weideman can kick straight, the Dees are definitely a chance.

Fremantle vs. Carlton, Optus Stadium, 8.10pm (AEST)
Team news: In exciting news for Dockers fans, Michael Walters returns from a hamstring injury and will replace Travis Colyer as the home side's only change from the side that defeated the Hawks. Carlton has named debutant Josh Honey and key forward Harry McKay to replaced injured duo Jack Martin and Marc Pittonet.
Prediction: It's been a great few weeks for Fremantle who are mounting a case to play finals in 2020. If they are genuine about a top four finish, they must beat the Blues. David Teague's side was impressive against the Eagles in their last game, but ultimately fell short. Another vocal home crowd should be enough to inspire the young Dockers again and help get them over the line.

Western Bulldogs vs. Adelaide, Metricon Stadium, 1.05pm (AEST)
Team news: The Dogs have recalled Lachie Hunter, Ben Cavarra, Rhylee West and Roarke Smith, with Zaine Cordy, Jason Johannisen, Laitham Vandermeer (managed) and Josh.Bruce making way. Adelaide have regained Daniel Talia, Jake Kelly, Lachie Murphy, Myles Poholke and skipper Rory Sloane, with Darcy Fogarty, Ben Crocker, Tom Doedee, Tom Lynch and Ned McHenry the outs.
Prediction: Are the Crows ever going to get a win? It's the question we're all asking ourselves at the moment. They passed up a great chance against an under strength Collingwood side last time out and face a much greater task this time - the Bulldogs, away from home. One positive for the Crows in the loss to the Pies was Rory Laird starring in the midfield. He'll have to play in there again if they are to quell the influence of the Bulldogs' star midfield brigade.

St Kilda vs. Essendon, Gabba, 3.35pm (AEST)
Team news: The Saints have made four changes with Zak Jones, Jack Lonie, Paddy Ryder and Seb Ross coming in for Ed Phillips, Jade Gresham, Dean Kent and Jake Carlisle. The Bombers, meanwhile, have made five changes: Micahel Hurley, Josh Begley, Sam Draper, Jacob Townsend and Kobe Mutch come in, with David Zaharakis, Aaron Francis, Devon Smith, Tom Bellchambers and Mason Redman making way.
Prediction: There's a lot to like about the Saints, despite the fact they enter this game off the back of a huge loss to the Cats. Brett Ratten has his side playing fast-paced, high pressure football and you have to think they will bounce back from last week's shocker. This is the sort of game a finals hopeful simply must win to stay in touch with the top teams.

West Coast vs. Hawthorn, Optus Stadium, 6.15pm (AEST)
Team news: Both sides have made three changes, with Jeremy McGovern, Brayden Ainsworth and debutant Nic Reid coming in for West Coast. Liam Duggam, Jarrod Cameron and Jake Waterman make way. The Hawks, meanwhile, recall Changkuoth Jiath, Conor Glass and Shaun Burgoyne for Tom Scully, Jon Ceglar and Isaac Smith.
Prediction: It's hard to see the Hawks being competitive in this one. They are struggling in all areas of the game and come up against the premiership favourites who are riding a six-game winning streak. If the Dockers midfield humiliated them, it's going to be interesting to see what the A-grade Eagles midfield group do to them. This game isn't going to be close.

Richmond vs. Gold Coast, Gabba, 7.10pm (AEST)
Team news: Three changes to the Tigers for this key clash with the Suns. Jack Graham, Oleg Markov and Trent Cotchin are in, while Derek Eggmolesse-Smith, Jack Ross and Josh Caddy make way. The Suns have included Alex Sexton, Caleb Graham and Nick Holman, while omitting David Swallow, Jarrod Harbrow and Sean Lemmens.
Prediction: The Tigers are tracking nicely and shouldn't have too many problems against the Suns, a team they have utterly dominated in recent times. Dustin Martin is back in Brownlow Medal form and the key forward pairing of Jack Riewoldt and Tom Lynch is beginning to fire. Hard to see the improving Suns cause an upset in this one.
Score: Richmond 8.5 (53) def. 4.8 (32)
