On Sunday, the final installment of the "Bubble Watch" series was posted, with a total of 31 players considered to be on the bubble as the Bills are set to begin training camp Friday.
The percentages assigned to players on the bubble weren’t intended to be scientific, although there was some math involved. There are 38 players considered "locks" or "near locks" for the roster, and an additional 16 players considered "on the bubble" but with a greater than 50 percent chance to make the roster. Those two groups total 54 players, which is what the Bills will carry on their Week 1 roster, as Marcell Dareus will be suspended for that game.
Injuries and other factors will almost certainly help "bubble" players with a 50 percent chance or less in their quest to make the roster.
