College football's national signing day kicked off with the early signing period Wednesday, and it lasts all the way through Friday. High school recruits are able to sign their national letters of intent to lock them into the colleges of their choice, for at least a year.
While the buildup to signing day was less dramatic than in previous years, there was still some chaos. Five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola flipped from Georgia to Nebraska on Monday, while there were a few flips on Wednesday, including Georgia adding five-star safety K.J. Bolden, who was a longtime Florida State commit, and Oregon adding two wideouts, one who had been committed to Ohio State and another who pledged to USC over the summer.
Georgia holds the top spot in our 2024 class rankings, but there are a few schools close behind the Bulldogs. Most programs will lock down the majority of their class this week, but recruiting is far from over. If a prospect doesn't sign a national letter of intent by Friday, the next national signing day for this cycle begins Feb. 7, 2024.
