COLLEGE STATION, Texas -- LSU director of player development Kevin Faulk was seen in an altercation with a credentialed member of the Texas A&M sideline after the Aggies' 74-72, seven-overtime victory over the Tigers on Saturday night at Kyle Field.
A photographer from the Baton Rouge Advocate captured a photo of Faulk in a scuffle with a man in a red Texas A&M shirt and a team credential. Thousands of fans rushed the field after the game, creating a chaotic scene.

An LSU spokesman alleged that the man involved in the scuffle with Faulk punched LSU special assistant Steve Kragthorpe in the chest. Kragthorpe, who was once the offensive coordinator for the Tigers, has Parkinson's disease and a pacemaker.
The spokesman said the team would gather more information before commenting further on the situation.
"Out of nowhere, I got nailed," Kragthorpe said in a phone interview with The Daily Advertiser on Sunday. "I didn't go down, but I clutched over. I was like, 'Damn, he got me right in my pacemaker.' Then it started fluttering like he jostled it."
Kragthorpe said he will be seeing his neurologist in Baton Rouge on Monday and does not plan on pressing charges against the man, whose identity he did not know.
The man involved in the scuffle with Faulk was seen approaching Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher in the team tunnel after the game. Fisher told reporters after the game that he was not aware of the scuffle and "had no idea" what happened.
An A&M spokesman said the team doesn't plan to comment until it reviews video of the incident.
Faulk, a former LSU and NFL running back, joined the LSU staff in January. He told The Daily Advertiser in a phone interview Sunday that he saw someone punch Kragthorpe in the chest and reacted.
"It's unfortunate this situation happened," Faulk said. "It got out of hand. But I was just behaving as my mom and dad raised me. This guy hit Coach Kragthorpe in the chest. I just stepped in. It just happened."
Kragthorpe told The Daily Advertiser that Texas A&M wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig, who served as an assistant on former LSU coach Les Miles' staff in 2016 before being fired by Ed Orgeron, incited the whole situation by yelling at the LSU coaches, including Orgeron.
"I went up to Dameyune and said, 'Hey, Dameyune, get out of here. You won. You don't need to be doing that. Move along,'" Kragthorpe told the paper. "And that's when I got hit. I mean, I got nailed. He was a young guy. I'm 53. I'm not going to fight him. I have Parkinson's, but even if I didn't, I haven't gotten in a fight since high school. That would be a poor reflection on Coach O and [athletic director Joe Alleva]."
