Florida signee Noah Dickerson has asked for his release from the school following the coaching change, he told ESPN.com.
When Billy Donovan left the Gators for the NBA's Oklahoma City Thunder, Dickerson wanted to wait until Donovan's replacement was hired before making a decision. Florida hired Louisiana Tech head coach Mike White last week.
Dickerson, a 6-foot-8 power forward from Montverde Academy (Fla.), is ranked No. 51 in the ESPN 100. He committed to Florida last August, choosing the Gators over LSU, Georgia Tech and others. However, he was originally committed to Georgetown but reopened his recruitment last June.
Dickerson was one of four signees in Florida's 2015 class. ESPN's Jeff Goodman reported on Tuesday that KeVaughn Allen is expected to ask for his release, while Keith Stone told ESPN.com last week he wanted to honor his commitment. Kevarrius Hayes rounds out the class.
