MONTREAL, Canada -- Max Verstappen has been given a reprimand for impeding Valtteri Bottas during first practice for the Canadian Grand Prix.
Bottas had to take evasive action at the final chicane as he came across the slow-moving Red Bull, locking his front right tyre and going straight on. The incident was reported to the stewards, who blamed Verstappen and issued a reprimand.
It is Verstappen's first reprimand of the season with a total of three resulting in a ten-place grid penalty.
