Bournemouth defender Charlie Daniels has signed a new three-and-a-half year contract, the club have announced.
Daniels joined the Cherries from Leyton Orient in 2012 and has impressed in their debut Premier League campaign, making 25 starts.
And manager Eddie Howe said he believed the 29-year-old left-back deserved a lot of credit for the way he had settled into top flight football.
"He has really elevated his game to a new level this season, that is not easy when you take into consideration the kind of wingers he is coming up against every week," Howe told the club's official website.
"But he has been at his peak physically and I believe that has really helped him. He deserves this new contract."
Daniels said he was determined to continue his development and added: "I feel as though I'm playing my best football now.
"Playing in the Premier League is what I've always wanted to do, and I need to keep working hard to keep improving." "It's been a great journey from League One, and I'm really looking forward to helping us to go on even further."
