Alex Morgan celebrated her 30th birthday in style Tuesday, nodding home the winning goal as the United States beat England 2-1 to book their place in the Women's World Cup final.
In a move that will surely join Bebeto, Brandi Chastain and Roger Milla in the pantheon of iconic celebrations, Morgan marked her goal with a casual sip of tea.
Cue hysteria.
- No Rapinoe, but USWNT show poise to beat England
It's not the first time at this World Cup that the Americans' goal celebrations have come under scrutiny. But was Morgan's slurp of Tetley's finest another example of a tone-deaf USWNT? Or a light-hearted jab at the vanquished Lionesses?
Here's what Twitter had to say:

Messi hits rock bottom, Alves hits peak Alves at Copa America
Lionel Messi's interminable wait for international glory goes on after his Argentina side were sent home from the 2019 Copa America by old enemies Brazil in the semifinals on Tuesday night.
As you might imagine, the frustrated Albiceleste captain wasn't best pleased after the final whistle of the 2-0 loss, lambasting the referees and VAR in a slightly uncharacteristic sweary tirade.
The frustration was palpable from a man who, despite winning all there is to win at club level, hasn't lifted a single senior trophy with his country.

West Ham and England's Declan Rice suffered a rude awakening after making the mistake of falling asleep in the general vicinity of Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
The two friends are currently on holiday together in Dubai, where Mount may well have caused Rice lasting trauma by shocking him out of an afternoon nap on the sofa.
Amazing wake-up scenes, though we're more than a little concerned that Rice appears to sleep like some form of ancient vampire.

Raheem Sterling has graced the latest cover of GQ magazine, becoming the first footballer to do so since David Beckham back in March 2016.
The Manchester City star has been depicted as the "guardian angel" of football in a striking photoshoot which sees him pose in leather trousers and a gigantic pair of black wings.
Inside the magazine, Sterling discusses his life and his career, his newfound role-model status and his relationship with City manager Pep Guardiola.
"He [Guardiola] has challenged me, never let me be comfortable," the 24-year-old said. "Every year he has bought a new winger.
"He's demanding, but it's good. It makes you want to do better and makes you want to prove to him and show him every time you go on the field you're playing for your position in his team."
