Southampton forward Daniel Pablo Osvaldo said he wants to "win everything" with Inter Milan as his return to Serie A moved a step closer on Tuesday.
Osvaldo, 28, arrived in Milan on Monday afternoon for a medical ahead of a proposed loan move to the Nerazzurri.
Although he did not want to say too much "out of superstition" before the deal is finalised, he did state that he is arriving at a club where he hopes to win plenty of silverware.
"I hope we can win everything possible," Osvaldo told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "Then I want to get back into the [Italy] national team.
"I've spoken on the phone to [Inter coach Walter] Mazzarri and he was happy. I hope to do well with [Mauro] Icardi."
Osvaldo won the scudetto with Juventus last season, playing for the club during the second half of the campaign on loan from Southampton.
Once he successfully completes his Inter medical, he will join Juve's bitter rivals in a similar deal with Saphir Taider heading in the opposite direction.
The Algeria international was due to undergo a medical in Southampton on Tuesday morning, according to Sky Sport Italia, with the exchange of loan deals due to be completed during the day.
Inter are also close to finalising the arrival of Gary Medel from Cardiff City.
The Chile international is due in Milan on Tuesday for his medical, having flown to Madrid from Santiago on Monday.
Medel is just awaiting the green light from Cardiff to take the final step of his journey and sign for Inter, says La Gazzetta dello Sport.
