Southampton striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo has arrived in Buenos Aires where he is hoping to complete a move to Boca Juniors on loan.
Osvaldo, 29, is currently on loan from the Premier League club to Inter Milan until the end of the season, but has fallen out of favour with the Serie A side.
The Nerazzurri tried to send him back to Southampton this winter after an on-field row with teammate Mauro Icardi, while Juventus had showed an interest in taking over the loan until the end of the season.

However, the Serie A champions ultimately opted for Alessandro Matri from Genoa, leaving Osvaldo in limbo until a move to Boca started to take shape.
That move could soon go through with the Italy international now in Argentina to discuss the finer details of the move.
"I am very happy but also nervous," he told reporters inside Buenos Aires' airport. "I don't want to say anything because I haven't yet signed the contract. As far as I know all is good [with the contract]. If all goes well it will be the biggest dream of my life."
From what could have been six months spent training apart from his teammates at Inter, and not playing at all, Osvaldo could instead find himself playing for a club he says he has always supported.
"I have never seen so many people here to welcome me," he added. "Now I know what playing for Boca will mean. I know what wearing the shirt means, I have never seen this before. I hope I can calm down once I get the contract signed."
