Liverpool have announced the signing of Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Adam Bogdan on a free transfer, who will officially move to Anfield on July 1 after his contract expires.
Bogdan, 27, will become the new understudy to Simon Mignolet at the Premier League club, with Brad Jones set to move on when his deal runs out at the end of the month.
The Hungary international becomes the third Bosman signing of the summer for Brendan Rodgers, following James Milner from Manchester City and Danny Ings from Burnley. Liverpool will have to pay compensation for Ings, with the two clubs still locked in talks over a fee.
A statement on Liverpool's official website read: "Liverpool FC are pleased to announce that personal terms have been agreed with Adam Bogdan and the goalkeeper will join the club on a free transfer on July 1 after his contract with Bolton Wanderers has expired."
Bogdan has Premier League experience with Bolton, and has been their first-choice goalkeeper after their relegation to the Championship.
