After winning the Dutch cup this season, Eljero Elia decided to have the occasion immortalised on his body in the form of a celebratory tattoo.
Elia decided to have an image of the trophy inked just above his ankle, along with the date that his Feyenoord side managed to see off fellow finalists Utrecht.
However, not only did the tattoo artist manage to get the date of the match completely wrong, he also managed to misspell 'Feyenoord' while he was at it.

Therefore, the ex-Southampton winger was left with a tattoo heralding "Fenenoord" for their cup triumph on May 24, which he proudly showed off on Instagram.
It perhaps should be noted at this juncture that the actual cup was won by Feyenoord on 24 April.
After the mistakes were politely pointed out on social media, the former Dutch international deleted the photo before posting a second image a few days later which appeared to show that he'd had his original tattoo corrected.
Remember kids, always fact-check your tattoos.
