Some Rangers fans are in a state of extremely mild uproar after discovering that Siri, the iPhone's virtual personal assistant, has been telling people that their club was founded just four years ago.
When asked when Rangers were formed, Siri replies: "Wednesday, December 19, 2012," rather than 1872, when Glasgow Rangers first came into existence.
The response has proved incredibly popular with fans of rival Scottish teams, who have used the fact that Rangers went into liquidation and were relegated to the bottom of the league pyramid back in 2012 to taunt their supporters ever since.

The problem (if you choose to see it that way) is that Siri sources its information from the Wolfram Alpha search engine, which judges the day that Rangers were initially publicly offered on the stock exchange in 2012 to be the club's first day of trading.
Still, why let pesky search algorithms get in the way of good banter?
