A host of Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester City, are chasing Cambridge United starlet Leon Davies, a source has told ESPN FC.
Davies is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in the country after emerging onto the scene at League Two club Cambridge.
The attacking full-back has been a regular in Cambridge's under-18s, and although he has yet to make his first-team debut for the club he was named on the bench earlier in the season against Accrington Stanley in November.
Davies' emergence at Cambridge has not gone unnoticed among clubs higher up the football pyramid, with the teenager earning rave reviews.
A source close to the player has told ESPN FC that the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Everton, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa have all made enquiries about Davies, while a number of their Premier League rivals are also keeping tabs on Davies.
Cambridge are reluctant to lose the talented teenager, but are bracing themselves for interest in Davies this summer as his Premier League suitors look to lure him away from the Abbey Stadium.
