Arsenal have officially released midfielders Mikel Arteta, Tomas Rosicky and Mathieu Flamini after their contracts with the club expired.
The three players were all in the last year of their Gunners deals, which expired on June 30, and the club confirmed to ESPN FC that they are no longer on the books as of Friday.
Arteta, who captained Arsenal over the last two seasons, is expected to take up a coaching role at Manchester City as part of new manager Pep Guardiola's backroom staff.
Flamini and Rosicky have not announced their future plans, with the latter currently recovering from another injury sustained with Czech Republic at Euro 2016.
Rosicky only made one appearance for Arsenal last season because of injuries, but was given a rousing farewell by the Emirates Stadium crowd after the last game of the campaign.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already moved to reinforce his midfield by bringing in Switzerland international Granit Xhaka from Borussia Monchengladbach.
Meanwhile, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is back at Arsenal's training ground and running outdoors after recovering from a knee injury that ruled him out of Euro 2016.
The midfielder had spent most of June in California on holiday but posted a picture of himself running with a member of the training staff.

Arsenal's preseason training for first-team members who have not been on international duty this summer starts on Monday.
