Fenerbahce have confirmed they have opened talks with Gregory Van der Wiel and expect to wrap up a deal with the Netherlands international on July 4.
Van der Wiel, 28, is a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, having played in a total of 132 games for the club.
And now, the full-back looks set to continue his career in the Super Lig playing for last season's runners-up.
"Fenerbahce have opened negotiations with Gregory van der Wiel over a transfer," a statement said on the club's official website.
"The Dutch player is expected to arrive in Istanbul on July 4 to complete the deal."
Van der Wiel came through the ranks of the Ajax youth academy before transferring to PSG in 2012 where he went on to win four Ligue 1 titles.
Fenerbahce's next fixture is against Sparta Prague in a friendly on July 18.
